Copyright and Original Works of Art
Buying an original painting, assumes that you buy the physical object to have and enjoy. You own the artwork, not the copyright to it.
The copyright remains with Danica illustration unless:
- They specifically signed over their copyright to the buyer.
Unless one of these circumstances applies, original piece buyer does not automatically acquire the right to reproduce a painting as prints, cards, posters, on clothing, etc, when they purchase a painting or a print- you’re acquiring the right to own and enjoy the item but not the right to reproduce it.
Processing and Delivery
Please keep in mind that the delivery times we give you are estimated only. The actual delivery time will have many contributing factors. Please reach out to us before placing your order if it is time sensitive.
Danica illustration Art processing policy is between 2-5 business days (excludes weekends). While Danica illustration takes no responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen goods once your order is shipped, we will investigate your specific situation and ensure we work towards an appropriate solution with the shipping provider.
We post all deliveries to the address you provide us with, so check your order dispatch email to ensure that the address is the right one.

We ship WORLDWIDE! Please note that a shipment can take up to 30 business days to be delivered once shipped.
Order cancellations and returns
We accept order cancellations requested within 24 hours of purchase. Please note that refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.
Please choose carefully, as we do not accept returns if you simply change your mind. But if there is a fault with the product, we will happily exchange or replace your item including return postage.
All shipping envelopes and boxes are chosen with both the safe transport of your item(s) and it’s environmental impact in mind. Responsibly harvested papers, recycled, recyclable and reusable materials are used as much as possible.
The estimated delivery time for orders is between four (4) and five (5) business days from which we will proceed to the shipment according to the type of shipment the customer has chosen.

In accordance with the provisions of current regulations, the User will have the right to revoke the order within a period of fourteen (14) business days from receipt of the order, prior communication to Danica.
